Custom Fox runs as an online studio with local production, which means you brief the job, approve the artwork and pay from wherever you are, and we do the making. What you get instead of a counter is a browser-based design studio that shows you a live mock-up before you spend anything, and a human on the other end of an email who has already checked your file. Every piece of artwork is reviewed for resolution, sizing and placement before it goes anywhere near a press.

Who orders custom apparel in a city this size

Sydney throws up a wide spread of jobs, and the run sizes are all over the place. In a typical week that looks like:

There is no minimum order. One shirt is a perfectly ordinary order, and from 5 units the bulk discount starts bringing the unit price down, reaching 20% off at 20 or more.

What it costs

The front print is included in the listed price. There are no screen setup fees and no per-colour charges, so a six-colour photographic print costs exactly what a one-colour logo costs. T-shirts start at $29.95, polos from $39.95, caps and headwear from $29.95, crewneck sweatshirts from $59.95 to $74.95, hoodies from $59.95, kids and youth from $36.95, and accessories including tote bags from $29.95. We print DTF — direct to film — on everything. It is the reason full colour costs nothing extra and the reason the print stays soft and flexible instead of sitting on the fabric like a plastic patch. "I need these by Friday"

This is where being in Sydney pays off. Everything is made to order, so the clock starts when you approve the artwork: production takes 2–5 business days, then the parcel goes to the courier. Standard shipping is a $10 flat rate anywhere in Australia with 3–7 business days transit, so 5–12 business days all up. Express is $20 with 1–3 business days transit, so 3–8 business days all up. Both are tracked.

Metro areas sit at the fast end of those transit ranges, and within Sydney metro Express is often next business day once the parcel leaves us. That is the practical answer to a Friday deadline — but if the date is fixed and it genuinely cannot slip, order 10–12 business days ahead and stop worrying about it.
