Custom T-Shirts Adelaide
Adelaide runs on a calendar. Festival season, weekend markets, club fixtures, school fetes, trivia nights, fundraisers, a stall at a food and wine event. Most of the shirts that turn up at those things were organised by someone with a day job, a group chat and a date they cannot move. This page is written for that person.
First, the honest part. Custom Fox has no shopfront, studio, warehouse or staff in Adelaide. Everything is printed at our site in Sydney and sent to you by courier. There is no counter to walk into, no local pickup and no local rep. What we do instead is make the online part genuinely straightforward: you design in the browser, a person checks your file before it goes near a printer, and the parcel arrives tracked. If you would rather stand in a shop and feel the fabric first, we are not the right fit. If you want to sort twelve shirts at ten o'clock on a Tuesday night, we are exactly that.
Working backwards from the date
Nothing is pre-printed. Every order is made when it comes in, which is why the timeline has two separate parts you need to add together.
- Standard, $10 flat Australia-wide. 2–5 business days production plus 3–7 business days transit, so 5–12 business days all up.
- Express, $20. The same 2–5 business days production plus 1–3 business days transit, so 3–8 business days all up.
Both include tracking. Metro areas sit at the fast end of those transit windows, and Express is often next business day in metro areas once the parcel leaves us. That is really what Express is for: it does not speed up the printing, it shortens the road. Useful to know when you are deciding whether to pay the extra twenty dollars.
The practical rule for anything with a date attached — a market weekend, a presentation night, a shop opening — is to order 10 to 12 business days ahead. That covers the long end of Standard and leaves room for a reprint if something is not right. Note that these are business days, not calendar days. A long weekend can quietly swallow three of them, and Adelaide has a habit of stacking events either side of one.
Twelve shirts is a real order
There is no minimum. One shirt, six, twelve, fifty — all perfectly ordinary orders, with the front print included in the listed price rather than added at checkout, and bulk discounts from 5 units up to 20% off at 20 or more. That single fact is what makes a lot of small jobs possible at all.
Think about who actually needs printed gear in a city like this: the cellar door with four staff on the weekend, the café that wants aprons-and-tees consistency, the two-van trade business, the hair studio, the allied health practice with a team of five, the stallholder who needs a shirt for herself and whoever is helping on Sunday morning. Traditional print methods punish those numbers with setup charges that only make sense across hundreds of units. We do not have those, so a run of eight costs what a run of eight should cost. There is more on kitting out a small team in our guide to branded apparel for small business.
Full colour costs the same as one colour. A photographic logo, a gradient, a hand-drawn illustration, a sponsor row with six different brand colours across the back of a club shirt — all priced the same as plain white text. DTF (direct-to-film) printing lays the whole design down in one pass, so there are no screens to set up and nothing charged per colour. The finished print stays flexible on the fabric and will not crack, peel or fade in the wash, which matters when a club shirt gets worn every Saturday for a season. We have written separately about ordering custom club and team shirts.
What to print on
- Custom t-shirts from $29.95 — the default for volunteers, crews and one-off event shirts.
- Polos from $39.95 — a step up for front-of-house, cellar doors and anyone dealing with the public.
- Caps and headwear from $29.95 — good for outdoor markets and trades, and easy to spot in a crowd.
- Accessories and tote bags from $29.95 — stallholders use these as both a giveaway and a product.
- Kids and youth sizes from $36.95 — for family days, junior teams and community events where the whole household shows up.
- Hoodies from $59.95 and crewneck sweatshirts $59.95–$74.95 — worth ordering for winter fixtures and early market starts.
You can browse the full range if you are mixing garment types across one order. Plenty of groups do: polos for the staff, tees for the volunteers, kids sizes for the families.
Design it, see it, then order it
Our design studio runs in your browser with no software to install, and it gives you a free live mock-up before you pay anything. Upload artwork, position it, change the size, look at it on the garment colour you have actually chosen. If you are working from a logo someone made years ago, read our artwork tips first — resolution and file type cause more delays than anything else.
Once you order, our team checks every file for resolution, sizing and placement before it prints. If something looks like it will let you down, we tell you rather than printing it anyway. Behind that sits the 100% Fox Guarantee: if the print is not right, we fix it. We have over twenty years' experience across e-commerce, design and print-on-demand, and it mostly shows up in the boring, useful ways.
If you are still weighing up fabrics and fits, our guide to choosing custom t-shirts covers it, and the FAQs answer most of the rest. Anything else, email support@customfox.com.au and you will hear back within 24 hours.
We ship Australia-wide, including Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
