Your print area is about the size of a credit card
Everything you design has to live inside that box.
That’s the design canvas. It’s smaller than most people think, so simple, bold artwork works better than something detailed.
The shape of your design decides how big it prints
All three fit the cap. They just use different amounts of it.
A cap is wider than it is tall, so the height fills up first. A tall design prints beautifully — it just sits smaller on the cap. Worth knowing before you order, so the size of your image is your choice.
Want it bigger? Try arranging it side by side
Same symbol, same words — arranged differently.
If your design has separate parts — a symbol and a name, or two lines of text — placing them beside each other rather than above and below lets everything grow. If your artwork can’t be rearranged, no problem at all — it will still look great.
Keep lines and lettering chunky
Both marks are the same size on the cap.
At this scale, thin outlines and delicate type disappear into the fabric. Heavier weights and fewer elements always look sharper on a cap.
Check the centimetres, not the picture
The size fields tell you exactly what you’ll receive.
Your design can look generous on screen and arrive smaller than you hoped. Before you order, glance at the width and height — if there’s room left, push it bigger.

A custom trucker cap with the washed, vintage look built in. The Comfort Colours CCST0 Sunwashed Trucker pairs pigment-dyed cotton twill up front with soft mesh through the back. It's a six-panel unstructured cap, which means there is no stiffener behind the front panels, so the crown sits relaxed rather than standing tall like a classic foam trucker.
288 GSM 100% cotton twill front, pigment dyed with a heavy brushed finish, which is what gives the faded, lived-in colour straight out of the box. 100% polyester mesh back panels keep it breathable. Curved bill, plastic snapback closure, and a signature twill label inside.
One size fits most: 58 cm crown circumference, 18 cm bill width, 7 cm bill length.
